Gippsland Southern Health Service receives invaluable support from the community. We gratefully acknowledge this support, which helps us to provide our patients and clients with additional equipment and comfort to meet their health care needs. However, Gippsland Southern Health Service requires ongoing community support to help us provide the best possible care and patient amenities.

Doesn't the government fund hospitals?

We do receive some government funding for the basic running of the health service. However, Gippsland Southern Health Service provides a wide range of services for which it is either not funded or only partially funded. In addition we always have a need to find funding for capital purchases.

How can you help?

There are a number of ways you can help us improve our services. You can donate your points to GSHS when you shop at IGA Supermarkets, whereby every dollar spent is matched with a contribution to GSHS, or you could consider a one off donation.

What will your support mean?

Additional financial support will contribute significantly to ongoing upgrade of facilities, equipment and services to meet community needs.
