The Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) Library is available to GSHS staff. It provides information on Medicine, Surgery, Nursing and Allied Health through to Rehabilitation, Oncology, Psychiatry and Mental Health.
The Library is located in the main hospital building adjacent to the Monash University School of Rural Health and the hospital cafeteria. Opening hours are from 8.30 - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Services
- Reference enquiries. Staff requiring literature searches for patient care should contact Joanna Boast on 5173 8254.
- Literature searching is available through the Internet via the Clinicians Health Channel on www.health.vic.gov.au/clinicians/. Additional databases are available at LRH and include: UpToDate, MD Consult ProQuest Health and Medical, Informit Health Care. These additional databases are only accessible to external members from within the LRH Library.
- Internal Loans. Library materials may be borrowed for a period of two weeks by registered LRH Library users. Please contact the Library staff if you are looking for a title.
- Document supply/InterLibrary Loans are available for articles and books not held at LRH. Please contact the Library staff if you are needing articles or texts.
