Now What...? Dealing with your parent's cancer - B Mother's Day 2008 youth cancer charity CanTeen launched a new resource called "Now What...? Dealing with your parent's cancer". The 92 page book is avaiable FREE to young people aged 12-24 who have a parent diagnosed with cancer. There is also an online version.
This innovative resource is one of the responses to the research findings into the needs of offspring. The research shows that this group of young people has significant unmet needs associated with their experience. There exists very little in the way of written resources, that are appropriate for, or appealing to this group.
The book provides information, practical tips, support and advice across a whole range of areas that impact on a young person who has a parent living with cancer.
The book is available FREE to any young person, aged 12 to 24 years old, who has a parent diagnosed with cancer.
